it was kind of boring to me and it did not have that much cleverness as the book did. But, I liked the 3D and the speical messege!

I wish i could say that I loved this film and that finally Dr. Seuss’ amazing book came to life in this film but I can not say that. Yes, the film looks amazing and the animation is extraordinary, however the film lacked that wit and cleverness that Dr. Seuss’ has in his books. It is definitely much better than “Cat in the Hat” but it still does not feel like the adaptation of Dr.Seuss’ book. There are many cute characters and they sing and dance and the story is great with a beautiful message so your children will love it but as an adult you will find yourself wanting more.

This movie theatre has a stupid policy for kids.My daughter has been watching movies in theatre's since she was two. They won't let her watch the Lorax because she is not 6 yet.I taught her how to behave in the movies and she is more behaved than most teens and adults.Hey Alamo Drafthouse you f***in suck !!!!!

My 10 year old daughter saw this & didn't like it at all. She said it had potential but wasn't that good. The 3-D effects were the best part of the movie.

The Lorax is both very good and very disappointing. Very good because it looks great, and has a lot of really fun moments. Disappointing because of its source material, a Dr. Seuss book with a serious message about the environment. This message gets glossed over, and I understand that, as this is a kid's movie, but still. The original book was pretty slight, so the story has been expanded to make it longer. Ted is a 12 year old boy living in Theedville, which is completely artificial, i.e. no trees. To win the affections of a girl, Ted goes to find out what happen to the trees, and from the Once-ler, learns the story. It involves the Once-ler's greed and a creature called The Lorax, who speaks for the trees. That's pretty much where the book ended, so you've got a bad guy trying to keep Ted from bringing the trees back. And that's where the movie runs into trouble. It's too afraid to be a pro-environment movie, so all of the overt political overtones of the book are dumbed down. It's hard not to compare it with Wall-E, which also had an environmental message, but wasn't afraid to tell the audience that it was their responsibility. Of course, this is a personal disappointment, so that might not bother you. It certainly won't bother your kids, who are going to love the colors and chases and voice work. Truth be told, if I hadn't known the story that well, I probably wouldn't have cared either. This is solid entertainment, but it's interesting that a movie that expands on a story isn't as good as where it came from.

I really loved this film and I highly recommend seeing it in the theaters. Is saw it in 3D IMAX and I think it is the only way to see this film, it looked absolutely amazing and I was blown away by the animation and beautiful visuals. I was so afraid that this film is going to be bad like “Cat in the Hat” but I was relieved because this film was sweet, silly and just wonderful. The cast did a great job with the characters and this adaptation rocked overall. If you have children then I really suggest you take them to see this film, they will love it and learn something good and you will have a great time yourself.

I was looking forward this film for a while now and was very excited to see it in the theaters. I was not a fan of “Cat in the Hat” so I really hoped that Hollywood did not ruin one of my favorite books by Dr. Seuss. Fortunately, the film was great and it was way better than “Cat in the Hat”. I saw the film in 3D and I thought it looked really good, the film was colorful and really beautiful visually. The characters were well developed and the cast did a great job bringing them to life. The film was sweet, silly and it had a great message for both adults and children. Overall, it is a great film and i highly recommend seeing it in the theaters.

I absolutely loved this film and highly recommend seeing it in the theaters. I saw it in 3D with my little niece and we both had such a good time. The film looks amazing and 3D definitely enhances the experience, I was lost in all the colors and beautiful landscapes, it was truly wonderful. The film also has a great message that is very relevant today and I hope that children and adults who see this film will take that message to heart. The film is also very entertaining and fun to watch and it is good for children and adults.

I really liked this film and I highly recommend seeing it in the theaters. I am a big Dr. Seuss fan and I have discovered his books in my adulthood but I still find it to be wonderful, inspirational and his books have such great messages. I have ever seen Dr. Seuss’ book adaptation and I thought this film was pretty great. I like how the director delivered the message and I loved the way this film looked, it was beautiful . I think the characters were very interesting and well developed, i also liked the voice overs. If you have children in your life then i highly suggest taking them to see this movie and even if you do not I suggest seeing this film.

I love Dr. Seuss and always find something in his books that make me happy and inspired. When i saw that this film is coming out I had very mixed feelings about it. I was exited and in the same time fearful because previous films like “Cat in the Hat” were not that good and I was afraid that this film will also be mediocre. However, the film was great and i highly recommend seeing it in the theaters. The animation was beautiful, the characters well developed and interesting and they were performed beautifully as well. This film has such a great message and it was delivered in a very understandable and fun way. Overall, I had a great time watching this film.
